Thursday, December 12 – Dana & Tyree:
Tyree Lush and Dana Arrowsmith have been performing in the Ottawa area and across Canada for the better part of two decades. Early days were spent touring folk festivals from coast to coast, performing original and traditional Celtic and East Coast music. Later branching out into rock, indie, and country, they now perform with various acts around theOttawa area. But as a duo they still enjoy playing the traditional music that first brought them together. Traditional influences include Stan Rogers, Paul Brady, The Navigators, and Shannyganock. Some other favourites include Blue Rodeo, Tragically Hip, Steve Earl, and Eric Church, to name a few. This duo brings their unique style and genuine love of performing to every gig, whether it’s a formal event or a rowdy pub.
